I am hoping this means all those busy intersections with a choice of 3 Starbucks within 100 yards of each other will be coming to an end soon.
On the flip side, as someone who doesn't sleep as much as he should (father of two kids with a busy career) Starbucks has become my daily crack fix. I am comfortable saying "Grande 3 pump Soy Chai Latte" to the 19 year old at the counter with a nose piercing followed up by forking over $5.
While I am pretty sure their drinks will be the cigarettes of my generation ("We had no idea they were killing us") I can't help but feel a little sad that things are not going so well for them.
Well, at least they aren't closing the store by me.
